CHRIS GEYER
Regional Counsel

Chris is Regional Counsel for the Fidelity National Title Group and his territory covers Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. He has over 40 years title industry experience in various positions including abstractor, closer, notary, title examiner and underwriter. After working several years in private practice, he became State Counsel and State Agency Manager. He has been underwriting counsel for over 29 years.
Chris earned his JD in 1991 from Louisiana State University. He was a member of the Louisiana Law Review from 1989-1991 and was Senior Editor from 1990-1991. Chris earned his MBA in 1990 and his BS in Business Administration in 1985 from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. He was an adjunct instructor in Real Estate Law and Business Law at Louisiana State University-Shreveport.
Outside the office, Chris is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, fishing, and exploring new places. Most of all, he values time spent with his family and the opportunity to create meaningful experiences together.
KATIE BELANGER

With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Katie has established herself as a leading authority in title insurance across Louisiana. Her comprehensive knowledge spans every facet of the closing process, both residential and commercial, and is grounded in a deep understanding of Louisiana law.
Katie is a dedicated advocate for the real estate industry, serving as a member of the Louisiana State Law Institute, where she works to advance legal reforms that benefit agents and consumers alike. She also holds leadership roles as Vice President of the Louisiana Land Title Association and Co-Chair of its Legislative Committee, helping to shape policy and promote industry excellence. In recognition of her contributions, Katie was honored as the Louisiana Land Title Association’s Title Person of the Year in 2021.
A graduate of Louisiana State University Law School, Katie is widely recognized for her insight and regularly consults on complex real estate transactions. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending quality time with her son, Jude, and embracing the culture and spirit of South Louisiana.
CAROLYN BAILEY
Associate State Counsel

Carolyn is a respected title professional with over two decades of experience in real estate law and agency operations. As the former President/Owner of Delta Title Corporation, she has built a reputation for excellence, leadership, and deep industry knowledge.
A graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Carolyn combines a strong legal foundation with practical, hands-on experience in running a title agency; In 2023, she was recognized as Title Person of the Year.
Outside of the office, Carolyn enjoys baking, reading on her Kindle, spending time with her husband, three daughters, two dogs and large extended family. Her happy place is anywhere by the beach.
LAURA CARROLL
Associate Counsel

Laura Carroll is Assistant State Counsel with Fidelity National Title Group and a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. With experience in real estate law, title insurance, tax credits and affordable housing finance, general business and foreclosure matters, she has advised lenders, developers, and other industry stakeholders in complex commercial transactions for nearly 15 years. She has also served as a guest lecturer for Tulane University's Sustainable Real Estate Development Program.
Laura earned her J.D. / B.C.L. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Louisiana State University's College of Engineering. Laura is also a children’s book author who enjoys fishing, painting, reading, all things Mardi Gras, and gathering around the dinner table with her husband and three young children.
JESSICA MCNEIL
Agency Manager

Jessica McNeil is proud to serve as Agency Manager for Fidelity National Title Group, where she enjoys building meaningful relationships and supporting agencies throughout Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and brings more than two decades of experience in the title insurance and real estate industry.
Her background includes extensive commercial and residential real estate transaction experience, agency relationship management, and business development. Jessica has been a statewide licensed Notary Public in Louisiana since 2012 and is also a licensed title producer in Louisiana. She is an also a participating member of the Louisiana Land Title Association.
Apart from work, Jessica has a love for art and history, she enjoys touring museums, and spending time with her family.
